Here comes Santa.. or does he?

It's Christmas time....! which in our house is all about family, and of course having a well deserved break from work, even if it is only for 4 measely days. Not that I'm complaining, of course.

Poor old Santa has had a wee bit of a bollocking in our house this yet. Kellie worked out (I think at the age of 3. She has a mind far too logical for her age) that Santa was a nice little story that parents tell their kids to make the festive season a bit more magical. None the less she has been a good sport and never really ruined it for her sister by telling her it's all a load of BS. Instead she says encouraging things like "E, you need to think about it and decide what you believe" so this year this is what Elysium's been trying to do by absolutely grilling us, and anyone else who is within earshot. Over the last week we have had some really intense conversations about Mr Claus, to the extent that Andrew was considering climbing up on the roof tonight to make reindeer noises but we figured E would probably run outside and he'd fall off the roof and break his neck trying to hide from her. Not our idea of a fun Christmas!

Tomorrow morning we have been told by our 6 year old that we "need to show her that Santa drank the milk and ate the cookies and also show her how he got in the house" so that she can "understand this stuff" LOL I wonder if it's time to give up and just tell her? But she's still little, and little girls need Santa!

Whether or not you believe, we hope you have a very Merry Christmas. May Santa bring you everything you wish for and 2010 be one of the best years of your life.
From our family, to yours.

There comes a point in your life when you realise who matters, who never did, who won't anymore and who always will. So don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future ♥

The word God is, for me nothing more than the expression and product of human weakness, the Bible a collection of honorable, but still purely primitive, legends which are nevertheless pretty childish. No interpretation no matter how subtle can (for me) change this. -- Einstein
