Today, since it was a gorgeous SPRING day and all, we took a nice little family drive to Mission Bay, had a game of mini golf followed by an icecream on the beach and soaking up a few rays before we started back home. Along the way, Andrew, frustrated by the person infronts driving, clutched the steering wheel and (quite loudly) asks ‘what are you doing, you cock?’
Silence... has he got away with it?
E: Hey dad, what’s cock?
I can see at this moment Andrew is going through the 'oh shit how do I get out of this mess' motion.
a) tell them the truth and hope that they are little angels and don’t use this bad word just because it’s a bad word because you know, bad words are fun to throw out there at random moments to embarrass the hell out of your parents
or
b) lie and hope to god that some time in the not-too-distance future his child doesn’t go to a rural area and exclaim “oh wow daddy look at that big cock”
A: Don’t worry, you won’t understand
K to E: Oh, it’s one of those words we’re not supposed to know.
What did I ever do for entertainment before these two came along?!
P.S - Our mini-trip was AWESOME.. Hopefully I will get a chance to blog about it soon.

There comes a point in your life when you realise who matters, who never did, who won't anymore and who always will. So don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future ♥
The word God is, for me nothing more than the expression and product of human weakness, the Bible a collection of honorable, but still purely primitive, legends which are nevertheless pretty childish. No interpretation no matter how subtle can (for me) change this. -- Einstein
